Henderson’s Decoration Handover Checklist

Check that materials meet the specification and requirements.

Check correct specification has been used including finishing schedule.

Check correct storage of materials.

Check material batch numbers (same for individual area).

Check surface quality/preparation of wall substrate is acceptable.

Check opacity of wall coatings (sufficient number of coats)

Check preparation of timber finishings is acceptable

Check coverage of coatings on timber is acceptable (correct number of coats)

Confirm walls and finishings are free from marks/scuffs and room/area is ready for handover.
