Are any required exclusion zones, safety zones, barriers etc in place and working effectively?

Are tools appropriately tethered (where required)

Is there clear access and egress to our works (ground conditions, obstructions, etc)

Are there any overhead cables (powerlines, BT) or overhead obstructions and if so safe system of work in place?

Welfare - are there client facilities or transient welfare arrangements in place?

Noise (nuisance) - are there any restrictions on use of ratchet tools, and if so spanners being used?

Protection - is scaffold foam protected up to 2m (where required)?

Ladders/access - ladders not damaged and lashed with 6mm cord, ladder guard fitted with padlock, or staircases secured and locked?

Housekeeping - work area organised and tidy, no fittings left on ground, materials safely stacked/stored?

Scaff-tags - fitted with correct information or "pulled incomplete no not use" during erection or defects?

Vehicle (falls) - harness being used for gantry access, no persons standing on buck / load area without fall protection?
