Plant EHS&S Leader Standard Work

  • Daily - Review Tier II Information and Attend Tier II Meetings

  • Daily - Review Gensuite Compliance Calendar. Complete assigned tasks and look ahead for any prep work for tasks that occur later in the week or month.

  • Daily Audit Tier 2 Meeting

  • Daily - Observe the High-Risk Task of the Day (or a Non-Routine (N-RT) Task if no High-Risk Task of the Day) * Min One N-RT per week.

  • Daily - Perform Safety Gemba's, any items observed record and track to closure.

  • Daily - Collect Safety Observations, Engagements, Risk Prediction Forms, Pre-shift forklift checklists. Audit for detail, accuracy, tracking, and follow-up if necessary.

  • Daily - Injury Follow-ups/Corrective Action Follow-ups/Verifications

  • Daily - Admin Time (Gensuite Data Entry, File Folders, Records Reviews, Leadership Safety Accountabilities etc.)

  • Daily - Engage with employees; appreciate and recognize accomplishments. Complete daily engagement activities such as Spot Awards, Communicating Results to Team Members, Thank You's, etc.

  • Weekly - Meet with S.T.A.R team meeting weekly.

  • Weekly - Off-Shift Safety Check (one/day per week come in early or stay late for non-traditional shift visibility).

  • Weekly - Meet with Plant Mgr. to (a) Review findings from Standard Work and (b) cover safety trends, high risk near miss events, observation trends, key safety improvements etc.

  • Weekly - Update/Review Site Safety Metrics look for trending data.

  • Monthly - Conduct an audit of one 6S area with the audit sheet and review in next Tier 2

  • Monthly - Attend Pactiv Evergreen Corporate Safety Leadership Training

  • Monthly - Update Employee Safety Communications Board (S.T.A.R) and monitors.
