  • This audit is to be completed by the Facilities Coordinator on a weekly basis and submitted to the Facilities Administrator for recording and reporting purposes. The areas, surfaces, tasks and outcomes described in this audit checklist address the requirements of the HPS Service Requirements for Grounds and Gardens maintenance.

Grassed areas

  • Are the lawns uniform appearance, length (between 20 - 50 mm) with no bare patches?

  • Are the Edges trimmed?

  • Are the lawns free from fallen leaves, weeds, litter, animal excrement?

  • Are the lawns free from standing or pooled water?

Trees shrubs and hedges

  • Are the trees, shrubs and hedges trimmed and pruned?

  • Are the roads pathways, lighting and signage free from obstructions?

  • Are there dying or diseased branches?

Flower beds

  • Are the flower beds fully stocked?

  • Are the flower beds free from fallen leaves?

  • Are the plants free from disease and/or aphid infestation?

External Structures

  • Are the external structures secure and free from damage, moss, algae,vandalism and graffiti?

Boundaries

  • Are all fences/walls intact, secure and safe?Free from grafiti and damage? Do all locks operate<br>

External Play/Recreation areas

  • Are the areas safe and secure and suitable for disabled, young and elderly people to transverse?<br>Are the areas free from graffiti and vandalism and free from standing or pooled water?

External Sign Posting

  • Are the gates and fencing operational and in good condition?

  • Is the signage secure and in sound condition, visible day and night and free from graffiti and vandalism?

  • Are the gutters and drains clean, clear and free from litter, leaves, weeds etc?

  • Is the site free from litter and are the waste bins less than 75% full?
