Emergency Procedure Guide (EPG) in holder on or close to drivers door

  • Should find EPG holder inside drivers door or mounted accessibly close to the door with guide (HB76) or individual product advice sheets

Emergency Equipment carried

  • First aid kit - Check if present and that there are no out of date items

  • Torch with batteries - Torch works and for flammable (class 2.1) is flameproof (typical markings include IECex, AS/NZ 60079.11 or AS2430)

  • Breakdown triangles (x 3) - Double sided reflector signals that are clean and in good condition

  • Fire extinguisher (FE)- Type 10B extinguisher present and in test (tested in last 6 months). Note can be located inside or behind cabin

  • Thermally insulated gloves / gauntlets - Gloves are to be non-absorbent e.g cotton does not suffice. Leather gloves are generally accepted

  • Gas tight goggles or face shield - Check clean and fully operational

DriveCam unit

  • Inward and outward facing camera in position and unobstructed on windscreen of vehicle
