OPERATIONAL METHODS & PERSONAL PRACTICES

  • Equipment is stored in appropriate locations (eg. forklift machine, jack lift, pallet mover, etc.).

  • No wooden cabinets in the loading bay area.

  • Cleaning supplies/tools/ lubricants are stored properly (ex: food grade stored separately from non-food grade lubricants).

  • No evidence of food, drink, tobacco in any area other than designated areas.

  • No evidence of spitting or foul personal habits.

  • Doors/roll-up doors are left closed when not in use.

  • No left products are on the weighing scale or in the staging area.

  • Stretch films were kept in the storage cage.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANLINESS

  • The handwashing facility is in good condition and clean.

  • The walls and ceiling are clean and maintained, no areas are in need of painting.

  • Floors and connecting base concretes are maintained and in good condition.

  • Warehouse area are maintained clean. CAYGO policy is evident.

  • Solid bottom guards and bollards are in good condition and clean.

  • Loading-bay doors are in good condition and clean.

  • Rubber gaskets in roll-up doors are in good condition and clean.

  • Plastic curtains in loading doors are clean and in good condition.

  • Lights are shielded and in good condition and clean.

  • Weighing scales are calibrated, clean, and in good condition.

  • Cooling units are free from leaks.

  • No condensates were observed on the ceiling and walls.

  • No oil or grease leaking into the loading bay/staging area.

  • No temporary repairs using tape, burlap, or other materials on equipment of the facility.

PEST CONTROL

  • No evidence of animals waste (cats, etc) structural infestation (insects), or pests in the area or around the equipment.

  • No gaps on the bottom part of the loading door when close.

  • Products stored off the floor. No presence of mold or decomposition.

  • Openings/cracks on doors, floors, & walls are sealed.
