  • Open trailer doors and inspect any damage to any of the feeds

  • Visually check loading fans and Bead flexi pipe for any signs of damage

  • Open bulk head door and inspect any damage to the 2 lower feeds and the 1 high loading feed

  • Attach bead flexi pipe to the top inlet pipe using 160mm connection clamp.

  • Open the gate on the loading inlet

  • Ensure gates on the lower feeds are closed

  • Remove Bead flexi pipe from silo outlets by opening the clamp

  • Always make sure you check all silos to ensure you have enough bead to load a trailer, if this has been done, open the gate to silo you are loading from.

  • Turn on the fan using the green button on Switch 1

  • Open gate on fan to let air pass through into the trailer

  • Check the fan settings are correct, start on no.1, this will force the bead to the rear of the trailer, then when the trailer is 3/4 full, close the setting no.3.

  • Always make sure the air from the inlet pipe is reaching all the way to the far end of the trailer.

  • If the air is not reaching the rear wall of the trailer, open and close the gate on the fan 3 or 4 times and this should then dislodge any bead stuck in the loading pipe of the trailer.

  • ALWAYS MAKE SURE THIS IS CLEAR BEFORE ANY BEAD GOES IN THE TRAILER !!!

  • Re-attach bead flexi pipe to the silo you are loading from and open the silo gate

  • Check bead is hitting the far wall of the trailer with a torch.

  • Close bulk head door

  • Check trailer every 10-20 minutes, look through the bulk head window to ensure its getting the correct fill

  • Once trailer is full the fan will make a louder noise , turn the fan off using the same switch as you used to turn it on. this time pressing the red button

  • Close the gate on the fan then close the gate on the trailer, the fan will stay spinning for a few seconds after you have turned it off so always make sure gates are closed to stop any spillage of bead

  • Remove the flexi pipe that is attached to the trailer

  • Once the flexi pipe has been removed from the trailer and stored back in the yard safely and correctly, Clean up any bead that may be on the back of the trailer

  • Close trailer doors and inform your supervisor or manager that the trailer is full
