Fill

  • Will the fill platform be less than 1500mm from the wall of the proposal?

  • Will fill be less than 1000mm?

Retaining Walls

  • Will a retaining wall be required?

  • Is the location of any retaining wall clearly indicated on the plans?

  • Is Engineering Certification required?

Driveways, Kerb & Guttering and Road Openings

  • Will the gradient of the driveway comply with the requirements of AS2890.1-2004?

  • Does a road opening exist?

  • Is access available from the roadway to the proposed dwelling?

  • Can the disposal point for the storm water be clearly identified?

  • Is there an outlet in the kerb and gutter for the stormwater?

  • Will approval be required under Section 68 of the Local a Government Act for the stormwater?

Damage to Public Infrastructure

  • Has all damage to Council infrastructure been identified?

  • Is there a fire hydrant within. 60m of the proposed development?

Fire Hydrants (Bushfire-prone sites only)

  • Has the location of any fire hydrants been marked on the plans?
