  • 3d)Are handrails, footrests and handgrips present, secure and in good condition?

  • 3e)Are platforms undamaged, flat and free from protruding bolts,sharp edges and decay?

  • 3f)Are ropes in good condition and firmly fixed?

  • 3g) Do all nuts and bolts appear to be secure without any projecting thread?

  • 3h) Does all timber and metal work appear secure , undamaged and free from corrosion and decay?

  • 3i)Does equipment work properly and without undue noise?

4) New equipment or environmental changes

  • 4a) Has any new equipment been introduced with components not covered in this audit? If yes then the audit must be revised accordingly.

  • 4b) Are there any reasons to be concerned regarding the safety of users of the site? For example: noted increased traffic where appropriate signage could inform drivers of children crossing. Or evidence of fire in bins or equipment.
