Check there are no signs of fresh timber or holes where something may have been removed

Are all nuts and bolts secure with no projecting tread

Are all ropes & chains secure, undamaged and free from wear

Are all components in place and securely fixed

Traverse climbing wall condition and security of fixings

Are all safe surfaces undamaged with no hole or rips in surface

Is the safety surface level with surrounding ground and not causing a trip hazard

Check for trip hazards on surface

Check for vegetation on safety surface

Inspect surrounding security fencing
