MVP Observation - Crane Operation

Operator is wearing standard PPE (Gloves, hard hat, safety glasses / side shields, metatarsal safety shoes)

Operator has crane certification sticker on his hard hat

Operator has completed his crane inspection prior to operating the crane

Operator is wearing crane box harness properly

Operator is out of drop zone

Operator is in position to see drop zone

Operator is using horn when moving a load over a walkway, machinery and at intersections

Operator is tilting load at less than 5 degrees

Operator is not in a zone between a solid and moving object before lifting

Hooks are secured

All lifting devices are greater than 10' above ground level when not in use

No unattended loads

Crane is parked clear of driveways
