Because you selected 'Other' this question appears so you can free type an answer.

So a multiple choice question allows you to preformat responses which makes completing the inspection quick and easy and aids in data collection. Adding an 'Other' option with a 'Logic' behind it allows for greater flexibility.

Here is another question with custom responses added with colour coding. Try selecting option a, then go back and select option b and see what happens

In other words, because you chose option b, a whole series of questions, information or actions can be instigated. Imagine if you didn't have to complete an entire checklist because the question/responses were intelligent. That would save time right.

This is a 'repeatable section' It allows you to group a set of questions and complete them as many times as you need. An example would be inspection Fire extinguishers in multiple buildings. Some buildings might only have one, others could have 20. Just keep adding a section for each extinguisher.

Note that when you select 'Poor', because it is a 'failed item' iAuditor prompts you to add a note, an image or create an action.
