Ticket...

  • Do you have an equipment ticket in? What is that ticket number?

  • Do you have a ticket to deliver the system? What is that ticket number?

Base system set up.

  • Did you get the system serial number? What is it?<br>

  • Does the system have an image?

  • Did you join the system to the domian?

  • Did you name the system per the standard naming convention?<br><br>What is the name?

  • If appropriate, is the system set up on "flmobile"?

Once the customer has logged into the new system...

  • Dd you make the customer a local administrator of the system?

  • Did you set up Lotus notes mail

  • Did you set up calendars in lotus?

  • Did you set up "Sametime" with in Lotus

  • Have the certs been down loaded from certauth/sslcerts. Then set to always trust in keychain access?

Virtual machines...

  • Are there any virtual machines that need to be moved?

  • If so, is the VM and player that they currently have, compatible with the OS on the new machine?

FileMaker pro (eComm &Marketing only)

  • Do they understand that the current FileMaker pro server version they have is not comparable with OS X Lion at the moment?

Adobe Software

  • Do they need any of the adobe creative suite software?

  • (If they have it) Is the version they have comparable with the new OS?

  • If they do not has the license been ordered?

Personal data.

  • Does the customer have any data on the machine that was not stored on a network drive?

  • Was all personal data moved from old system to new?

Network

  • Once again check that the machine is hooked to "flmobile" or any other appropriate wireless networks.

  • If the machine is wired... Did you obtain the computer name and MAC address for the infrastructure team?

  • Was VPN set up on the machine?

Printers...

  • We're the appropriate printers added to the system?

Peripherals ( If applicable)

  • Did you pair the customers new mouse

  • Did you pair the customers new keyboard?

  • Did you give the customer the new rechargeable battery kit?

  • Did you help set up monitor configuration?

Additional Items

  • Are there any additional software titles or hardware items that the customer needs or is requesting ?

  • Is the upgrade complete?
