NewPOS.36 Upgrade Checklist

  • Please complete the below checklist before and immediately after the upgrade and raise any applicable issues with the IT Helpdesk

Pre-Installation checks:

  • Have all the printers got paper ready to print, IE: kiosks, grills and front counter?

  • Are any relevant keys for kiosks available if needed?

  • Do all kvs screens have bump bar keypads attached for testing? Please make sure all are working

Pre and Post Installation checks:

  • All Tills Up and Running

  • Transactions generating correct receipts (inc VAT receipts)

  • All Kiosks Up and running

  • Card Payment message screen displays correctly

  • Card payment works and receipt printed correctly (inc VAT receipt)

  • Able to redirect CASH order to FC

  • Order present in Kitchen Grill slip printed

  • OAT order present and Pick ticket correct

  • ORB and mini ORB working correctly

  • Drive-Thru Up and Running - all lanes (If Applicable)

  • Cashier till recall and coin dispenser

  • Monitors look and respond as expected, receipt prints correctly

  • Bump bar working, recall, next, Pull forward, serve etc

  • COD screens working correctly

  • GMA Orders Going through successfully

  • Delivery Orders going through successfully

  • These orders are processed through the kitchen and OAT as expected

  • Front counter till working correctly – including GMA orders

  • All Cashless Devices up and running

  • All Scanners Up and Running

  • POS Scanners put to Serial Mode & Working

  • ORB Scanner is working post upgrade

  • All KVS's Online and running

  • eProduction Up and Running
