Groundwater Spear Installation & Excavation

  • Physical fall prevention established?

General Observations

Excavation access/egress

  • 45 degree access ramp installed at the end of excavation where the pipes are located

  • Crushed rock placed and maintained to ensure non-slip conditions are maintained at all times.

  • Access/ egress ramp free from obstructions

Traffic Management

  • All vehicles, plant and equipment are fitted with flashing rotating Amber beacons and audible reverse alarms are operational

  • Condition of internal roads maintained to acceptable standard

  • Are traffic management plans current?

  • Are internal road intersections clearly sign posted?

Coating Removal Works

  • Coating removed in small pieces by way of brass hammer

  • Removed coating pieces are captured in plastic and double bagged for off-site removal.

General

  • 5m exclusion zone around each item of plant established
