DETERMINING CRITERIA

• Structural

  1- Very Good - As new. Sound physical condition. No scour and/or no defects.

  2 - Good - Good physical condition. Minor scour and/or defects.

  3 - Fair - Moderate physical condition. Medium scour and erosion. Cracks less than 5mm.

  4 - Poor - Poor physical condition. Medium scour and Major erosion. Cracks between 5mm to 15mm

  5 - Very Poor - Failed or failure immense. Severe scour and erosion. Cracks greater than 15mm.

• Performance (Blockage)

  1 - Very Good - Up to 20% silt and/or vegetation blockage.

  2 - Good - Up to 40% silt and/or vegetation blockage.

  3 - Fair - Up to 60% silt and/or vegetation blockage.

  4 - Poor - Up to 80% silt and/or vegetation blockage.

  5 - Very Poor - Up to 100% silt and/or vegetation blockage

• Performance (Hydraulic Capacity)

  1 - Very Good - No or very small possibility of overflow.

  2 - Good - 30% probability of overflow.

  3 - Fair - 50% probability of overflow.

  4 - Poor - 70% probability of overflow.
