EXTERNAL BUILDING BACK

  • Check out the back - is this neat and tidy? Do the crates need to be lined up against the wall and swept out the back ?

  • Check the sink in the carpark - this should have nothing left in it. Make sure the tap device is returned to hanging near the roller door<br>

Sometimes other Roastery staff will drive in if there is a spare carpark for the day. Ensure no one is getting bumped out of their spot.

  • Check the Commercial Bins outside - have these been cleared by 11.00am?<br>We have two bins located near the roller door. Once for recycled goods and one for commercial use.   • Wooden pallets: When coffee is delivered the pallets are stored and stacked outside near the bins, ready for free collection at any time. When these build up the Office Manager will place an ad back on gum tree FREE for anyone to collect

  • Check in kitchentte area is clean and tidy - no dirty dishes are to be left here.

AP AREA

PRODUCTION OFFICE

  • Is the sales dispatch bench organized? Speak to Production Manager is there is anything out of the ordinary?<br>

  • Is the Production desk area clean? "nothing left on the desk except comptures" policy

  • Collect the merchant settlement and take upstairs and pop into the Merchant Settlements drawer beside printer.

EXTERNAL FRONT

  • Check cobwebs on the outside of the mesh gate - dust these away

  • Is the front PMCR mesh gate closed and locked?

  • Mail in - The mailbox is located at the front door to the roaster and is cleared by the Office Manager daily. The Office Manager is responsible for sorting the mail and passing it onto the relevant person/department through their pigeonhole. Each pigeonhole is located upstairs above the stationary cupboard. The key to accsess and lock the post box is located in the top drawer of the Office Managers desk with a purple key tag.<br><br>Check this after 11.00am

  • Collect AP newspaper ( if they haven't already ) it goes on the bar in AP.

INTERNAL UPSTAIRS

  • Check the handrail is not wobbly at the top of the stairs. If it is, borrow the allen from the Rosters purple tool box 3rd draw down and tighten the rail.

  • Check all the lights in the stairwell work - if you need more lights these are located in the AP storage area

  • Is the carpet area at the top of the stairs clean? If not do a quick vacuum. The vacuum cleaner is located in the shelving area near the back windows

  • Turn on all lights upstairs - Office lights located next to power box and door as you enter. CCC lights located near boys toilets

  • Check Business card stock levels on wooden table as you walk through glass doors. Each venue has Business cards available for customers. Spare cards are located in the draws underneath

  • Check the Office Bins: Upstairs has rubbish bins located in various areas to keep the environment clean and pest free. The office has a red recycling bin located near the printer where employees can place paper into. - Each person is responsible for removing their own rubbish. - The cleaner will empty upstairs bins and replace bin-liners on a Monday & Thursday evening - The Office Manager is respnsible for the bins every other day The production kitchen have bins and they are responsible for removal of rubbish each day. - This includes boxes, crates and waste. - The training station has bins and they are responsible for removal of rubbish each day. - This includes boxes, crates and waste. All rubbish is removed into the commercial bins located near the roller door downstairs

  • Is the communal desk area free of clutter, dishes and stains? This may require a wipe down from coffee spills etc<br>

  • Turn on printer & replenish paper in Tray 1, 2 & 5 Spare recycled paper is located in 1st shelving unit to your right, on the 3rd shelf up. The white paper is located in the Reflex box next to the printer. All other paper is located in the cupboard labeled stationery behind the communal desk FYI Toner and Waste cartridges: When the printer requires new toner of any colour it will beep and alert a message on the screen. Spare toner is located in the bottom cupboard of the printer. If replacement toner is unavailalbe email ais@advancedimagingsystems.com.au or phone 1300 552 160 to request a new one to be sent out ASAP

  • Empty the dishwasher: This is emptied every morning and night by the Office Manager. The dishwasher takes tablets only and are to be ordered through Office Works by the Office Manager. AP dishes are to be returned every morning & amber glasses to the CCC A-frame/stand The training department will use this dishwasher after training and will also be responsible for filling and emptying on a regular basis. Pre/post training

  • Data Projector & Screen The data projector is avaliable for all staff to use and is located in the centre of CCC space. The projector has 3 x cords for use into computers/laptops which are located in the orange bag underneath DJ deck shelves. The screen is located on the bottom of the first shelving unit of the storage area. To use data projector: 1) Plug in power cord to data projector 2) Turn projector ON – (located on the top of data projector) 3) Plug in HTML cord from data projector into computer/laptop 4) Adjust the focus on the screen by rotating the lens (located on the top of data projector)

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Fire Safety: There are three Fire extinguishers located at the Roastery. 1 upstairs/2downstairs (higher risk) - Upstairs extinguishers located near Wellington St window - Downstairs extinguishers located next to the production computer area and near the roller door. DMR Fire protection is responsible for the testing and replacement of equipment on behalf of the buildings owner (Colleen Danaher). There is a Service Log Book to be signed by the person carrying out the works. This is located in the filing cabinet. The office Manager will order replacement equipment when necessary.   • The First Aid Kit is located upstairs near the mens toilets. A representative from Accidental Health and Safety completes an onsite check every 3-6 months to determine minimum requirements are met and communciate stock requirements. Purchasing of restock is managed by the Office Manager and Accidental Health and Safety.   • Power switch boards: The Roastery has two main power switch boards. - One board is located on the left hand side wall as you enter the office upstairs - One board is near the stairway downstairs.
