  • Deck clean & tidy (no loose items which may get washed over, trip hazards etc)

  • Deck surfaces - Ensure non-skid finish is in good condition

  • All Navigation lights working (if req’d)

  • Fuels cap in place and tightened

  • Adequate fuel for days operations

  • Flares adequate & in date

  • Life ring in place & clear of obstructions

  • Fire extinguisher inspection tags in date

  • Fire extinguishers have clear access

  • Fire extinguishers properly secured

  • 1st Aid kit fully stocked and in date

  • 1st Aid signage visible

  • PPE adequate and worn correctly

  • PPE maintained and stored correctly

  • VHF Radio Operational (if req’d)

  • Tools available and in working order
