Drawings

  • Do you have a sealed drawing on site for this pour ?

Hi Load Scaffold

  • Are all frames, braces and spacing installed by the sealed drawing ?

  • Are all frames visually plumb ?

  • Are all X braces installed on shoring frames ?

  • Are all heads and baseplates attached to screw jack with hitch pins and rivets ?

  • Are screw jacks within allowable extension as shown on drawing ?

  • Are all shoring frames resting properly on a baseplate ?

  • Are baseplates on ramps in full contact with slab or have wedges installed ?

  • Is lateral bracing installed as shown on drawings ?

Beam Stringers & Joist

  • Are stringer sizes and lengths as shown on the sealed drawings ?

  • Are stringers secured in heads ?

  • Are the joist used on the beam bottoms the same as shown on the sealed drawing ?

  • Are the joist spacings and spans as shown on the sealed drawings ?

Engineered Trusses

  • Is the trust spacing correct by the sealed drawing ?

  • Have trusses been inspected for damage ? ( cracks and loose nail plates etc.)

  • Are all trusses supported in the correct location ? (Under the correct nail plate)

  • Are all additional shores installed ?(if required)

Reshoring

  • Are reshores installed on all levels required ?

  • Are reshores visual plumb ?

  • Do reshores have spring clips installed ?

  • Have reshores on lower floors been rechecked ?

  • Are all reshore pins completely inserted and is the reshore snug to slab ?

  • Have all floors below reached required strength to support slab load ?

  • Are all reshores at perimeter of the building secured to prevent tipping ?

Subgrade

  • Is slab on grade in place ?

  • If no slab on grade is in place is sub grade compaction sufficient to support leg load ?

  • Are mud sills centered under shore and in full contact with subgrade ?

  • Are mud sills installed by the sealed drawing ?

  • Have efforts been made to prevent runoff from washing under mud sill during heavy rain ?
