-
Ventilation Assessment (Insulation Measures) - does it meet the PAS 2035 requirements?
-
If Yes:
- The ventilation assessment has identified that the existing ventilation system does meet the requirements of PAS2035.
-
If No:
- The ventilation assessment has identified that the existing ventilation system does not meet the requirements of PAS2035. The 'Ventilation Strategy' details the upgrade requirements for this retrofit project.
-
If N/A
- Ventilation upgrades are not a mandatory requirement as Non-Fabric measures only are being installed. Ventilation advice has been given.
-
Condition of the existing building
- A condition survey has been completed and this suggests that the property is in a good state of repair and that no remedial work is required prior to the installation of the measures.

-
What remedial works are needed?
-
Planning Conditions - Is Planning Permission Required for EEM upgrade?
-
Please explain the Planning Permission Requirements
-
undefined
- The Installer/Client is responsible for obtaining the relevant permissions in order to carry out the proposed works.
-
Products & material specification
- The materials and products that have been specified are compatible with the building and each other. The manufacturers instructions for all products and materials to be used during this project are referenced in this design document.

Damp, Mould & Condensation
-
Where is this evident?
-
Physical interactions between measures
- Design details for measures that physically interact will be shown in the design details document. These are primarily taken from 'BR262 Thermal Insulation: Avoiding Risks' and must be followed to minimise thermal bridging and maintain airtightness.
- N/A
-
Resilience to rainwater ingress or flood
- The property is in a good state of repair, is in a moderate exposure area and has a very low flood risk.
-
Fire Safety
- The proposed measures should not compromise the fire safety of the building.
-
Maintenance requirements (Insulation)
- The fabric measures that are proposed have no ongoing maintenance requirements.
- Refer to MCS standards and system designer specification for maintenance requirements.
- Refer to the manufacturers technical specification for guidance on maintenance requirements.
-
Technical Standards
- The installer must install the measure in line with general guidance in PAS2030:2019 Sections 1 to 10 and the measure specific guidance in Annex B.
