Was there an Advance Shipping Notice, ASN sent with the shipment?

Is there one unique shipment number and one ASN for each shipment? There should not be a separate ASN for each PO or sales order. (Take photo)

Are “All-One-Lot” requirements outlined on PO followed and are similar lot codes grouped together on the same pallet?

Is the shrink-wrap applied at the proper tension to avoid damage and securely wrapped down around the pallet? (Take video)

Are approved pallets being used on shipments? Pallets must be grade A quality, 48x40 notched stringer, four-way entry, heat treated, with a rated load capacity of 2,800lbs. (Take video)

Do pallet heights meet Avantor's requirements for safe handling? Like sized products should not exceed 52" in height and be able to be double stacked. Mixed single pallets are not to exceed 84". Hazardous Goods should not exceed 52". All maximum heights include pallets. (Take video)

Is the pallet stable and have corner guards to prevent damages? (Take video)

Is product configured on a pallet in a column stacking pattern to maximize corrugate strength and prevent damages? (Take photo or video)

Is there a unique pallet ID number for each pallet shipped?

Has packaging been ISTA tested for 3A certification for parcel shipments? Have products which ship as one unit attached to a skid (Equipment) been ISTA tested for 3B certification for LTL/TL shipments?

Does the product labeling face outward on pallets? (Take video)

Is product shipped damage-free with heavy product on bottom and light products on top? (Take video)

Are pallet pads or slip sheets utilized to limit damage caused by the pallet on the bottom layer of product? (Take video)

Is the freight class for each commodity on BOL validated per NMFC Standards to ensure accuracy of freight billing?

Does the packing list or BOL have the unique shipment number printed on the document?
