Cracking behind the crest of the overall slope/bench

Are there any signs of back break at the top of the face ?

New accumulations of water behind the crest of the overall slope/bench?

Is there evidence of surcharging at the top of the face by excess overburden or other material?

Is there evidence of water running into tension cracks or over the face ?

Is there any loose material on the face ?

Is there evidence of any geological features such as wedge failures, toppling failures, planar failures, curved jointing or geological faults ?

Displacement across joints/bedding planes etc?

Open structural features inclined >10 degree out of the face?
