Pre-start briefing to ensure all staff are fully aware of the scope of the days work prior to work activities. Ensure workers and contractors are aware of all worksite hazards, worksite safety obligations, Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and/or Job Safety Environmental Analysis (JSEA) control measures are implemented, emergency procedures and PPE requirements.

Minimum PPE requirements are: Long sleeve shirt (sleeves rolled down), steel toe safety boots, eye protection, wide brim hat (when exposed to ultraviolet radiation).

PPE to be used if risk assessment of work area requires further control: Protective face shield, impact rated safety goggles, ear plugs, ear muffs, gloves, face mask, respirator, gas monitor.
