Client Specific

  • - Has the room account been created, and activation code and/or credentials been provided and entered into the Touch Panel successfully? (MAC reservation, Client LAN Ports provided)

  • - Client provided provisions. (Power, Lectern)

  • - Client provided network. (Ports, switches, etc.)

  • - Clarify if there is access to codec's web interface at client site and/or remotely.

  • - What UC Platform will be utilized? (MTR, Zoom, Webex)

Physical System Installation

  • - Document any OFE equipment and verify if it matches the drawings. Document any inconsistencies and inform Designer and Programmer.

  • - All devices mounted square and level.

  • - Provide photos of all devices installed, that are visible, showing they are square and level.

  • - Speakers properly installed, configured for appropriate room coverage for the standard listener.

  • - All equipment is securely fastened on mounts as specified.

  • - Provide photos of equipment mounted.

  • - Provide photo evidence from the room's four corners. (Room is clean and ready for use by client)

  • - System and components are serviceable with cable management.

  • - Cables and devices are labeled in agreement with the project drawings.

  • - Provide photo(s) showing cables and devices are properly labeled and dressed.

Functionality Testing

  • - System wakes up and operates as designed; via occupancy or engaging Touch Panel.

  • - Sources route properly to the room display(s).

  • - System touch control panel provides full functionality as designed.

  • - Full system tested and ready for commissioning

Audio Testing

  • - Record average noise floor; A-weighted, at multiple locations. (Above 45 dB would be a fail and create an action item)

  • - Nominal operation levels:<br> A - 66 dB SPL for conference speech (include reading)<br> B - 60 dB SPL for program material include reading)<br> C - Broadcasted sound only varies +/- 3 dB SPL. Include Reading (should not exceed 6 dB)

  • - 70% default volume, is the received far side speech at or about 64-66 dB SPL.

  • - Speakers do no produce any crackling, humming, a ring, or any other distortion.

  • - Mute sync from control works as designed.

  • - External call can be added to a meeting without causing an echo.

  • - Ceiling array microphones gain structure and room coverage configured for unity gain.

Video

  • - The system displays stable images, with no scaling-related issues when switching sources.

  • - All sources can be routed to expected destinations.

  • - Cameras configured correctly, and speaker tracking works as designed.

  • - Displays power on/off at system startup and shutdown.

Final Sign Off

  • - Record non-conformances for corrective actions.

  • - All equipment maintain its configuration after a power failure simulation.

  • - Client has been trained on the system or has a training been scheduled/offered. (Include Date)

  • - All relevant equipment firmware and end user credentials been recorded in the AV9000

  • - All serial numbers, MAC addresses, and available IP addresses been recorded in the AV9000.

  • - Commissioning test call has been recorded and included in closeout documents.

  • - Closeout documents have been completed and are ready for delivery to client.
