  • Are Steps / Hop-Up stable when positioned on level ground?

  • Hinges in place, secure & free from damage and corrosion?

  • Brackets / Spreaders free from damage & distortion?

  • Has the equipment failed on any of the conditions detailed above?

Results

  • If any of the equipment has failed take the ladder out of service

  • Can the ladder be repaired?

  • If no, arrange for the ladder to be destroyed
