  • Do all socket outlet, lighting and heat trace circuits have RCD protection?

  • Do all earthing and bonding connections appear to be in place, including panel door?

  • Are there any motors powered from this panel?

  • Are all motor contactors correctly rated?

  • Do all motors have thermal overload protection?

  • Are all thermal overloads set at the correct current?

  • Do all motors have local isolation switches?

  • Are all motor local isolators clearly labelled?

  • Are all motor local isolators lockable in the off position?

  • Are all motors in good condition, with appropriate IP rating?

  • Do all other electrical items in the area e.g. Lights, have appropriate IP rating and are they in good condition?
