Is the Electrical Panel/Enclosure free of corrosion, water/dust ingress and are seals intact?

Is the Electrical Panel/Distribution Board clearly labelled with a unique name/number?

Is the source of supply and/or isolation point clearly labelled? (Recommended)

Does the Panel have a Main Switch?

Is the Main Switch clearly labelled?

Are all cables clearly labelled? (Recommended)

Are different voltages segregated inside the panel?

Do all components other than ELV have secondary guarding e.g. Terminal covers or escutcheon?

Are the Electrical Single Line Diagrams up to date?

Do all socket outlet, lighting and heat trace circuits have RCD protection?

Do all earthing and bonding connections appear to be in place, including panel door?

Are there any motors powered from this panel?

Are all motor contactors correctly rated?

Do all motors have thermal overload protection?

Are all thermal overloads set at the correct current?

Do all motors have local isolation switches?

Are all motor local isolators clearly labelled?

Are all motor local isolators lockable in the off position?

Are all motors in good condition, with appropriate IP rating?

Are all instruments in good condition, with appropriate IP rating?

Do all other electrical items in the area e.g. Lights, have appropriate IP rating and are they in good condition?

Are all cables mechanically protected and supported?

Do all cables appear to be in good condition?
