  • Ladders extended 36" above excavation or trench box?

  • Equipment parked minimum of 20 feet from excavation?

Equipment Safety:

Confined Space:

  • Manholes are ventilated? Blowers used before and during work, especially in shot rock areas?

  • Purge with air at least 5 minutes before entry?

  • Tripod and safety harness in place?

  • No employees in manhole during stack out?

Roadways
