  • SAFETY CHECKLIST In the interest of safety, Rochon Corporation is asking sub-contractors to comply with the following safety guidelines on this construction jobsite. The safety guidelines are as follows:

  • Discuss specific safety procedures with the Subcontractor’s Foreman for the work to be performed (i.e. crane lift operations, fall prevention plans, electrical safety, steel erection plans, etc.)

  • Hard Hats are to be worn at all times on the site except as otherwise allowed during finishing work or dictated by Rochon Corporation’s Superintendent

  • Safety Glasses will be worn whenever eye injury hazards are present

  • High Visibility Vests will be worn at all times on the site except as otherwise allowed by Rochon Corporation’s job superintendent.

  • Power cords must be inspected daily & in good working order; GFCI in use

  • Hand and Power tools will be used properly and will be maintained in good condition

  • Ladders will be used according to OSHA guidelines

  •  Workers will wear clothing appropriate for construction sites

  • Workers will know where fire extinguishers, material safety data sheets, and first aid kits are located

  • All accidents or injuries will be promptly reported to Rochon Corporations Superintendent as soon as possible

  • Good housekeeping will be maintained

  • Workers will be protected from Fall hazards according to OSHA standards

  • Use of Aerial Lifts/Work Platforms, Forklifts, Scaffolding will be used according to OSHA standards

  • AWAIR and Silica Exposure Control Plans are discussed and retained in trailer

  • I have been informed of the above safety guidelines in keeping with Rochon Corporation and OSHA safety regulations. I understand that it is my responsibility to communicate & enforce these expectations with employees I am responsible for.
