  • 2. Pursuant to Section 23 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977 and all other relevant enactments.
    3. Pursuant to the Resource Management Act 1991 the best practicable option shall be taken to minimise any adverse effects on the environment. In particular to control smoke and other pollutants, NO green vegetation, tyres, oil or plastic shall be burnt. (Maximum penalty $200,000)
    4. Pursuant to the Auckland Council, Air, Land and Water Plan and relevant Bylaws, it is an offence to burn material which is not specified in this permit.

  • Subject to compliance with the conditions here set out, you are authorised to light in the open air a fire in accordance with the particulars in this permit.

    Nothing in this permit shall be deemed to relieve the holder of this permit from liability for any actionable damage sustained by any other person in consequence of any action taken by the holder of this permit.
