TASK 1 - Questions

  • Does RME member know basic Site Safety + SMART Handling – Verify the individual knows the site safety rules (PPEs required, Yard safety rules, awareness on the TDR process, etc) and knows about SMART handling techniques

  • Does RME member know Risk Assessments / OMRA – Verify the individual knows how and when the OMRA shall be filled out, and know where the formal risk assessments are located and the requirement to have read and understood them and duties of the individual to use stated control measures.

  • Does RME member know Site VSOPs/PMVs - Verify the individual knows where the RME VSOPs/PMVs are available and stored. Verify the invidiual understand what a “Routine” task is

  • Does RME member know RME Polices and Standards – Verify the individual knows where the RME policy/standard are stored

  • Does RME member know PPE, usage and inspection

  • Does RME member know High Risk Operations (HROs): what is an HRO and what is the list of HROs in Amazon - Verify the individual knows what an HRO is and verify the individual knows what is the HROs list in Amazon.

  • Does RME member know LOTO, when and how to use - Verify the individual has done the KNET training and has understood the LOTO process and procedure

  • Does RME member know Permit to Work Process – What it is, when it is required, who can issue a Permit to Work and how a Permit to work can be done (ePTW in EAM or xls file format) - Verify the individual has done the KNET training on Permit to Work and the training on Permit to Work on EAM and has understood the PtW process and procedure.

  • Does RME member know HAZMAT (for Workshop/Maintenance tasks and for HAZMAT sites) - – Verify the individual knows the site HAZMAT process/procedure

Task 2.2 - Hands On - The manager needs to have the individual demonstrating through a practical exercise, the following

  • Understanding the 1 Minute Risk Assessments. The manager shall review how the OMRA has been filled and provide a feedback to the individual

  • PPE: use and inspection, what PPE is required for the work and how to use it

  • Understanding of the LOTO process and LOTO placard.

Task 3 - “Site Safety Tour” and “Ready Steady Go Training”

  • “Site Safety Tour” and its completion logged in FC Learning

  • “Ready Steady Go training (RSG)” and its completion logged in FC Learning

Task 4 - KNet Sign Off

  • Manager. If you are satisfied that the individual understands all the general safety items listed above then mark this item as complete in KNet as per this video https://broadcast.amazon.com/videos/121931
