Notes: This schedule is applicable to all refrigerated display cabinets installed in retail sales areas including Integral Unit Cabinets air & water cooled. All work to be carried out on (agreed days or dates) to a schedule agreed with the Store Manager To aid defrosting of low temperature cabinets prior to maintenance, agree with Store staff to remove all products and switch off cabinets at an agreed number of hours prior to maintenance commencement time.

Task Details

  • Remove Base Plates And Baffle Plates

  • Insert Plug Into Condensate Drain

  • Wash Down Cabinet To Dislodge All Debris

  • Suck Out All Loose Debris And Water With Wet Vacuum

  • Suck Out All Dirty Water

  • Remove Drain Plug And Clean Drain Filter And Re-Insert

  • Pour Water Into Cabinet To Ensure Drain Is Clear

  • Check Evaporator For Visual Damage. Comb Fins To Return To Original Shape

  • Check And Clean Fans, Rotation And Tightness

  • Check For Refrigerant Leaks, Effective Control/Operation Of All Mechanical & Refrigeration/Electronic Components, Location and Fixing Control Sensors

  • Check Data Information In Cabinet Microprocessor With Handset If Appropriate. Check Bit Switch Settings If Appropriate. If Electro-mechanical Components, Ensure Settings Are Correct And Have Not Been Tampered With. All Information And Settings Should Comply With Commissioning Data

  • Check Correct Operation Of Evaporators - Even Frost Formation Across Coil Block And Superheat Settings Are Being Achieved

  • Replace Baffle Plates

  • Switch On And Check Operation Of TEV And Frost Line

  • Replace Base Plates

  • Check Case Thermometer Against Thermometer

  • Check For Damage, Ice Formation On Cabinet Or Pipework And Report

  • Check All Cabinets Are Communicating With Central Station (Enable To Dial Out If Appropriate), And Are Below High Temperature Alarm Parameters Before Leaving

  • Check Operation Of Door Heaters On Full Glass And Half Glass Cabinets

  • Post Commisionin Check (First Year Only).<br><br>Procedure - As 1-18 above, Plus At Items 10, Clean Refrigerant Liquid Line Filter Inserts, e.g. At Expansion Valve

THE CASE MAINTENANCE IAUDIT IS TO BE COMPLETED ON EVERY VISIT AND SENT TO THE CITYPOINT OFFICE AT THE END OF THE CLEAN. ALL DETAILS TO BE ADDED TO IPADS IN REAL TIME ALLOWING CITYPOINT TO TRACK PROGRESS NEXT DAY.
