GMP / SPS CHECKLIST

  • GMP Color Chart is being followed

  • Condensation or leaks

  • Walls – clean, cracks, holes, peeling paint, mold

  • Floors – clean, drains in good condition, cracks, hoses hanging up

  • Ceilings – clean, peeling paint, mold, refrigeration units

  • Vents & Fans – clean

  • Equipment - sanitary design, overall condition, parts, tools, racks/carts

  • Signage condition - (hand wash, exit, restricted access, etc.)

  • Hand wash sinks – soap, paper towel, trash cans, sensor works

  • Chemical containers/Storage – properly labeled, stored away from product, cage locked

  • Sanitation Gear – clean, gear hanging up

  • Employee equipment - hairnets, frocks, gloves, beard nets, hoodies, footwear

  • Restricted items – food, drink, gum, candy, lozenges, cell phones, smokeless tobacco

  • Pest/Rodent control - traps against wall, correct location, wall ID's, missing or damaged traps, fly lights working

  • Adequate lighting with proper shields

  • Temporary repairs not present (i.e. tie-wrap/zip tie, wire, tape, etc.)

  • Exterior doors closed

  • Any additional items not listed above
