Are the saddles or casing damaged in any way?

Do the bike consoles operate correctly?

Do the arms and pedals operate smoothly and correctly without any sideways movement of the arms?

Is the casing free from damage?

Do the consoles operate correctly?


Do all parts move freely?

Are the foot straps in good condition?

Resistance machines

Are all cables and belts free from obvious signs of wear?

Are all selector pins straight and able to locate weights correctly?

Are all karabiners free from excessive wear?

Are all machine bar attachment points free from excessive wear?

Are the machine frames free from cracking or deformations?

Are the seat and back pads secure and free from damage?

Are the guards on all machines covering the weight stacks?

Free weights and equipment

Are all weights free for damage/deformation/cracks/flaking chrome?

Are the weights clearly indicated on the dumbbells, barbells ad free weights?

Are the benches free from damage/deformation?

Is the upholstery on the benches free from rips/tears?

Gym Toys

Are all gym toys including medicine balls, Swiss balls, kettle bells, rollers etc in good condition and clean?

Area checks

Are the mirrors free from cracks and secure?
