Unit Wide

  • Make sure to turn on all light switches to confirm that they are working. Are they all functioning properly?

  • Make sure to test the blinds/curtains in all rooms. Are they all functioning properly?

  • Make sure all windows are streak free and clear.

  • Are all walls and doors free of scuffs and spots?

  • Ensure high dusting has been completed. Check all vents in living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom fans.

  • Ensure all low dusting has been completed. Check baseboards throughout unit,, light fixtures, TV's, and tables.

  • Check to make sure the temperature of the unit is correct. Is the A/C working properly in the unit?

  • Are access items present and accounted for?

Kitchen

  • Is the dishwasher clean and free of still water, unpleasant odor, etc in the dishwasher? [Reminder to check for functionality.]

  • Is the coffeemaker clean and empty of any K-Cup pods & Coffee Grounds? [Reminder to run a cycle on the coffee machine with water to check for functionality.]

  • Are all large kitchen appliances [Fridge, Microwave, etc.] clean and streak-free? [Reminder to check for functionality of all appliances.]

  • Are the small kitchen appliances empty, clean and odor-free? [Toaster, Electric Kettle Etc] [Reminder to check for functionality of all appliances.]

  • Is the kitchen sink clean with a brand new individually wrapped sponge present?

  • Are all kitchen drawers & cabinets clean with no evidence of a previous guest?

  • Glasses and Dinnerware: Are the items present [to par level] and free of chips, debris, and cloudiness?

  • Ensure proper par levels for essential stocking items are present: trash bags, dish soap, dish scrubber, dishwasher pods, paper towels, coffee, coffee creamer, sugar, truvia, tea and olive oil. Are all items properly stocked?

Living Room/Common Space

  • Is the living room furniture clean [stain-free]? Was underneath the sofa swept and free of debris? Please check the sofa bed to ensure it is functioning properly.

  • Are the floors clean? [free of debris, mopped, and non-sticky]

  • Check cleanliness of HVAC in living room for buildup of dust.

  • Is there carpet?

  • Are there any stains in the carpet?

  • Is the carpet freshly vacuumed and free of debris and hair?

  • Non-carpeted floors have they been cleaned and was the hardwood/cement mopped and sanitized?

  • If Carpet/Upholstery cleaning is needed, have you scheduled on your own, scheduled with HK team, or reached out to HK Support to schedule with outside vendor?

Bedroom(s)

  • Is the bed made neatly with hotel corners? [Be sure bed is made with appropriate linens, including pillow protectors.]

  • Are there any visible hair/stains on the linen and pillow cases?

  • Check the closet for stocking of blanket and sheets for the sleeper sofa.

  • Check under the bed for any trash.

Bathrooms

  • Check shower liner for yellowing, mold and condition. If mold is present replace shower liner.

  • Check bathroom drawers and ensure nothing has been left behind from previous guest. Ensure the cabinets are free and clear of any debris.

  • Use a Lint Roller on floor around the tub, toilet and behind the door to check for hair. Was there hair present in bathroom?

  • Is there noticeable dust on the ceiling vent/fan in the bathroom?

  • Does the bathroom appear to be stocked correctly: iron, hair dryer, towels, hand soap, and shower items?

  • Make sure to flush the toilet in each bathroom to check for functionality.

Laundry Room

  • Are the washer and dryer empty? Ensure nothing has been left behind from previous guest.

  • Ensure proper par levels for laundry room stocking: Laundry detergent pods, broom, dustpan and dryer sheets. Is the laundry room properly stocked?

Balcony

  • Is there any evidence of smoking on the balcony (ashes, cigarette butts etc)?

  • Is the balcony in clean condition? No large dust bunnies, spider webs, evidence of smoking, or bird feces?

  • Is the furniture in good condition? [Clean and organized]

POM Items

  • POM Duty Audit: Please ensure that the follow IoT and Access Items are working Properly: [Fobs Present] [Smart Lock Batteries % is above 50%,] [FA, Smart Things, Minut are all online] Please ensure these items are working before the arrival of our guest. Select "NO" if you need assistance with any of these prior to the next check in.

  • Turn on the tv with the provided remote to ensure it is working properly. Reminder to test volume controls.
