EXCAVATOR

  • Is there direct access to the work site?

  • Are there any fences , Trees , or other obstacles restricting access .

  • Will they have to be dismantled or removed?

  • Is the ground firm as to minimise track damage to the ground.

  • Is the excavator going to cross concrete paths and if so will there be any damage to concrete?

SAFETY

  • Is the work area well clear of any electrical sources EG. Overhead power lines or Underground Services?

  • Is the excavation away from pedestrian traffic?

  • Are there any Witches Hats out?

  • Is there adequate signage around work area?

  • Is the work area barricaded or fenced off?

  • Are al workers on site wearing Fluor clothing?

  • Has a JSA been filled out and any hazards noted?

  • Are they using Jack Hammers or Demolition Saws On Site?

  • Are they wearing the correct PPE for the task being performed?

  • How would you Rate the Safety of the Site on a Scale of 1-10?

Environment

  • Is there any sewerage discharge into storm water drains.

  • Is the material being removed from the excavation being kept in close vicinity of the excavation?

  • Are there any concrete or asphalt paths or roadways that need to be cut?

  • Is there any broken pipers or concrete that needs to be removed from site?

  • Will the site be left neat and tidy with minimal indication of the dig up, Ground raked level and all debris removed from site.

  • Will any concrete damage be repaired prior to leaving site?

  • How would you rate the Tidiness of the Site on a Scale of 1-10?
