05. HEAD Visual Inspection & Lubrication

  • Visually inspect all components for signs of wear and damage

  • Lubricate required o-rings and sealing surfaces

  • Sensors dry and connected

  • Place head plate with o-ring and secure screwed down

06. Assembly

  • Counter lung and Scrubber in place with mid-section. Head aligned. Clips closed.OPV set to dive. O2 + DIL hoses connected.

  • Check cylinder mount - locked and ensure they are in the correct positions

  • OPV set to Dive?

07. Calibrate steps

  • Calibrate with cap and 100% O2

  • mV DIL - sensor; 1 - 2 - 3

  • mV O2 - sensor; 1 - 2 - 3

  • Is handset functioning correctly

  • Are batteries working

  • Is correct gas visible

  • Check manuel add - both DIL and O2

08. Breating Loop

  • BOV function - OC/CC - correct?

  • Flow: Right to left / flapper valves working

09. Connect LOOP

  • Flow right to left?

  • Connect loop to head - secure screws

  • Connect BOV hose

  • Slowly turn on O2 and Dil mix

  • Check voltage for computer and solinoid

10. Pressure tests

  • Perform positive pressure test - turn off valves and breathe in to loop, close and wait 120 sec.

  • Perform negative pressure test - breathe gas from loop to completly empty, clos and wait 120 sec.

  • Check shut off valves - both DIL and O2

  • Perform pressure drop test; Turn on computers, switch to surface po2 (0.19). Open DIL and O2 valves SLOWLY. Circulate gas in loop. Close valves and ensure NO pressure drop in entire system.

11. Pre-breathing

  • Recheck settings on handset, low SP 0.7 - CC/OC, BOV function.

  • Pre breathe in min. 3 min.

  • Does the ADV work

  • Confirm what position the OPV will be left in (dive)<br>

12. Last check - on site, before entering water

  • Handset correct DIL, gradient, bailout options and set-point?

  • All valves open

  • Lead?

  • Lights and heating on board

  • Mirror for bubble check
