  • Cord management and Maintenance and how to roll the cord from the power point end to eliminate kinks

  • How to adjust vacuum belts for comfort

  • Explain the benefits of using the aqua mop instead of the bucket mop

  • Trainee is able to demonstrate the appropriate use of the aqua mop using figure 8 motions

  • Trainee understands which colour pads to use, when to change them and that new ones are to be used in each home

  • Trainee demonstrates how to Clean/Change micro fibre pads

CHEMICALS

  • Trainee understands how enzyme based products work, their uses and limitations

  • Observe trainee making up chemicals from their own kit and ensure that the correct ratios are used. When mixing chemicals, ensure that trainee is putting water in first and that they have the correct labels on their bottles

  • Discuss the use of harsh chemicals (mould removal, grease build up), where they can be purchased and the precautions. Trainee demonstrates

  • Observe the trainee's car, check that chemicals and equipment are stored correctly, MSDS are with the products<br><br> -Oven Cleaning<br> -Mould Removal<br> -Vacates

  • Ensure the trainee has appropriate knowledge of the precautions when using strong chemicals and how to ensure that there is no damage to the property or themselves. The trainee is able to explain the precautions required for each product.

GETTING WORK

  • Ensure that the trainee has business cards and magnets available to leave with each customer and how to ask for referrals. <br>

  • Trainee is able to explain PFWG and demonstrates an understanding of the requirements to be eligible

  • Observe franchisee accessing Jim's Online and locating the "find franchisees in local area" tab. Trainee is to call five franchisees from other divisions and offer a promotional clean. To be signed off only once complete

  • Listen to trainee answering FIVE phone calls and provide feedback (if need be, trainer to role play as the customer)

  • Demonstrate approaching shops/petrol stations in the trainee's territory and leaving magnets on the counters.<br>Discuss the benefits and ensure trainee has a clear understanding of their responsibilities as business owners to promote their own business.<br>Observe the trainee approaching FIVE local businesses to leave magnets on their counters.   • Trainee demonstrates an understanding of the Importance of Why we must act on leads IMMEDIATELY

  • The trainee observes a MINIMUM of three quotes undertaken by the trainer (quote family members or roleplay)<br>Observe the trainee doing a MINIMUM of three quotes and discuss afterwards.<br>Trainee must complete fully, itemised written quotes on the correct template to pass this section.<br>

QUOTING

  • Discuss how to avoid customer complaints:<br>Calling leads straight away<br>Arriving at the quote on time (or calling prior if running late)<br>Providing a full, itemised written quote<br>Ensuring that the customer has contact details

  • Role play strategies to assist trainee overcoming people that want quotes over the phone.

  • Discuss benefits to the customer of receiving a set quote rather than an hourly rate

  • The trainee is able to explain all the different types of leads (clean once, clean reg, clean $99 etc.) Trainee needs to understand exactly what a $99 clean is, how to upsell and what it entails.
