    Welcome to your copy of the digital SMT. This digital copy is designed to aid in the efficiency of your Pre-shift and Shift Evaluation. All forms on your shift will automatically be submitted to your Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, Operations Consultant and your fellow management team. This form was designed by the Burwood Management team for the use of HDF Kingsbury Pty Ltd Stores. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SOFTWARE IS CURRENTLY IN THE TRIAL PHASE. Pre-shift

Shift Preparation

  • Review sales projections, set targets & complete SPW

  • Read Manager's diary or communication log

  • Review Daily Food Safety checklist for previous manager/day part

  • Review Hazard Log & Incident Report entries

  • Review eOPS data from previous day

Outside Areas

  • Car park & neighbourhood free from litter (Minimum 1 Block)

  • Drive Thru lane/menu boards and landscaping clean and litter free

  • Flags are present and hoisted to the correct height

  • Menu boards correct, clean and readable

  • Drive Thru windows locked when not in use

Customer Areas

  • Dining room/patio and outside bins are changed or mashed down

  • Dining room/patio and outside floors are clean and dry

  • Dining room/patio and outside tables and seating are clean and dry

  • Windows/Glass/Doors are clean and free from hand marks

  • High chairs and trays are available and clean

  • Toilet floors, sink and mirror clean, soap & paper stocked

  • Mop buckets/spot sweeper/wet floor signs and equipment ready

  • Condiment bar is clean and stocked

  • Playland and floors, seating and equipment clean and safe

Service Area

  • Front Counter/Drive Thru/McCafé floors clean and dry

  • Sanitised cloths available/clean/timed (Including McCafé)

  • Centre Island & Front Counter clean, stocked (as per build report)

  • Equipment (Heat Treat, Coffee, FCB, beverage, fridges) clean & in good repair

  • Drive Thru clean and stocked (as per build report)

  • McCafé cabinet, clean, stocked, appealing and timers present

  • McCafé equipment, prep benches, floors, and stainless clean

  • Front Counter and McCafé menu board layout correct (including CRT's)

Kitchen Area

  • MFY Line clean and stocked, secondary timers present

  • Equipment (Grills, Fryers, Toasters, UHC, fridges etc) clean & in good repair

  • PLS accurate and VCM in use

  • Filters back-flushed & scrapers & spatulas sharpened (or blades changed)

  • Grilled products area stocked, clean and secondary timers present

  • Fried products area stocked, clean and secondary timers present

  • 3rd Sink and mop buckets set up, wash-room floors and walls clean

  • Sanitised cloths available, cleaned and timed activated in TMS

Other/Remote Areas

  • Walk-in freezer clean, tidy, rotated, enough stock available (within date) & locked

  • Walk-in fridge clean, tidy, rotated, enough stock available (within date) & locked

  • Additional fridge/freezer's clean, tidy, rotated and stocked (TMS activated if applicable)

  • Dry stock areas clean, tidy, rotated, enough stock and locked

  • Dumpster lids closed, dumpster gates locked

  • Coke syrup area clean and stocked

  • Appropriate lighting, HVAC and music

  • Back door locked, Training/Crew Room clean and tidy

  • You have completed your Pre-shift using the digital trial program for HDF Kingsbury Pty Ltd Stores. In the next section you will complete your Shift Evaluation. At the completion of your shift this form should be exported and will automatically be submitted to your Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, Operations Consultant and your fellow management team. Please ensure you also complete the new digital PSE form and attach your shift's Daily Activity Report from myRestaurant.
