CET Site Concrete Testing

Does the Technician know how to access the Risk Assessments and Method Statements to cover the site testing activity being undertaken through the CETi app?

Does the technician know how to access the Safe working practices to cover the site testing activity being undertaken on the CETi app?

Has a suitable testing area been provided?

Is the technician aware of the risk of burns that can be caused from fresh concrete?

Does the technician have all the correct equipment for the testing activity being undertaken?

Has the technician completed an equipment checklist and is all the equipment within its calibration date?

Is the technician aware of what type of sample is required

Whilst obtaining the sample. Was the first part and last part disregarded?

Has the samples temperature been recorded?

Does the technician know the classification and permitted slump range of the concrete sample being taken?

Has any re-mixing taken place prior to carrying out the slump test?

Has the testing equipment been suitably set up as per procedure?

Were procedures for testing the sample performed adequately?

Have the results of the test been recorded on the relevant format?

Are the specimens being manufactured as per client requirements?

Are the specimen moulds in suitable condition and calibrated?

Are the specimens manufactured in accordance to procedures?

Are there suitable arrangements for initial curing of specimens?

Will the specimens be sufficiently stable before being transported back to the laboratory?
