Site Safety Inspection

  • General Site Conditions - Does the site look and feel safe? – Acceptable housekeeping and storage<br>standards? Clear, safe and adequately lit access routes? Are the AIAC/sub-contractor immediate works locations clean and safe?<br>Is correct signage visible?

  • Sub-contractors – Are all sub-contractors working safely and in accordance with RAMS? Have they issued records of inductions, signed RAMS and TBT's for AIAC record keeping? Has supervisor issued evidence of SSSTS/SMSTS? Have Work permits been issued for the tasks in hand? Are copied available at point of works?

  • Canteen and Welfare – Are facilities adequate for numbers on site? Are facilities adequately maintained? Are there adequate facilities for storing PPE and belongings?

  • RF Exposure – Is there a live RF mast that is it located within 15m of our work area? If so, refer to our RF mast exposure policy.

  • Work at Height – Are works managed and completed correctly? Are personnel trained in the use of access equipment, records to kept? Is equipment being used correctly? Are tools being tethered where required?

  • PPE - Full compliance being achieved? Suitable for the task, as per RAMS and stored correctly?

  • Tools and Equipment – Are they suitable for the task and in good condition and working order? Are users trained in their<br>use? Are tools and equipment being regularly inspected? Do electric powered tools have current PAT certificates? Are they left in a secure place when not in use/overnight? Oxygen depletion required?

  • Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) – Are all RAMS available and is there evidence of reviews? Do work activities reflect contents of RAMS? Are workers aware of contents of their RAMS? Have any dynamic RA’s been carried out, and documented?

  • Worker Engagement – Perceptions of project/Site (good or bad)? Knowledge of previously attended toolbox talk? Any concerns raised or ideas for improvement? Do workers feel that they are engaged?

  • Overall Site Standard

  • Are there Any Issues / Concerns? - Please document below with corrective actions taken and date .
