As a consultant, CSS shall only make recommendations to the controlling contractor for observations made at the time of inspection.

  • The Owner, Client, and the Controlling Contractor are responsible for overall site safety and housekeeping at the project site. CSS's observations, either verbal or written, and recommendations described in the Insurance Carriers Reports, site safety meetings, and daily reports must be corrected at once by the Controlling Contractor's own forces or by the appropriate subcontractors. The making or absence of any recommendations, or compliance with any recommendations, does not warrant that your project site, operations or equipment are: 1) maintained in conformity with good practices and procedures; 2) in compliance with any local, state, or federal law, code, or regulation; or 3) without loss potential. No responsibility is assumed for the discovery and elimination of hazards at this project.
