BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE

  • Has the operator been instructed in the safe operation of this specific equipment?

  • Ensure Annual Inspection has been completed within the last 13 months.

  • Safety Devices/Decals - Work properly/Clean/Damage

  • Floorboard free of debris and garbage

  • Chassis - Lubricate/Damage

  • Coolant System - Level/Leaks/Damage

  • Foot Pedals - Clean/Debris/Damage

  • Fuel Filter - Indicator/Clean

ENGINE START UP

  • Overhead cage and seat condition?

  • Inspect inner & outer air filters

  • Check for battery secured, terminals, condition, leaks

  • Controls (travel) Steering - Forward/Reverse Right/Left

  • Engine - Sounds Normal

  • DEF Fluid Level

  • Controls (Lift Arm) - Raise/Lower Return to Neutral Position

  • Check the condition of the fan belt

  • Instrumentation - Operating Normal/Warnings

  • Open engine door and use pin to secure door from closing

  • Free from obvious leaks?

  • Condition of attachments?

  • Inspect blade, bolts, nuts, pins & locking bolts & nuts

  • Inspect radiator fins, leaks, overall condition

  • Mirrors cracked or missing?

  • Verify horizontal locking pins are in place for the 4 in 1 bucket

  • Controls are clearly marked?

INSIDE THE CAB

  • Engine fuel level
