CONVEYOR INSPECTIONS

Conveyor Motor / Gear Box / Hydraulic Components

  • Power Pack is Operating & Motor secured

  • Check oil level in hydraulic Tanks

  • Hydraulic wheel drive condition / leaks

  • Rams, condition / leaks / anti burst values

  • Motor, Gear Boxes in sound condition / secured

  • Inspect Switch Board & Electrical cables / plugs

  • Check oil level on gear boxes

  • Check retaining bolts on geared motors

  • Inspect all hydraulic lines leaks / conditions

Conveyor Components

  • Inspect Main frame for cracking

  • Skirting rubber condition - good / replace

  • Trough & Return rollers secured / damaged

  • Tyres Roadworthy & Drives Chains secured

  • Out loading spout / motor inspected / secured

  • Dolly wheels in sound working order

  • Pulleys & Bearings inspection, cracks / failure

  • Belt tracking properly & condition of join

  • Air brakes, tanks & fittings Operational

  • All guarding in place and secured

  • Receival hopper in good order & secure

  • Unit cleaned down

DOG INSPECTIONS

DOG Motor / Gear Box / Hydraulic Components

  • Power Pack is Operating & Motor secured

  • Check oil level in hydraulic Tanks

  • Hydraulic wheel drive condition / leaks

  • Rams, condition / leaks / anti burst values

  • Motor, Gear Boxes in sound condition / secured

  • Inspect Switch Board & Electrical cables / plugs

  • Check oil level on gear boxes

  • Check retaining bolts on geared motors

  • Inspect all hydraulic lines leaks / conditions

Flight Components

  • Flight inspected

  • Hanger / bearing shells inspected

  • All flights revolving correct rotation

  • Drive & Spigot shaft bolts inspected

Hopper Base

  • Ensure all safety bars are in place

  • Catches on door operating correctly

  • Condition of doors & side walls

  • Base / Walkway plates in good order & secure

  • Safety Signage present and readable

  • Chains & load binders in good condition

  • Swivel chute in place & operating

  • Wheel assembly in good working order

  • Wheel drives, chain & sprockets inspected

  • Has Stacker been Cleaned down

Ramps

  • Locating pins in good working order

  • Mesh secured / damaged

  • Spreader bars present & secured

SCE STACKER & DOG

STACKER

  • Check that all guarding in place and secured

  • Check that all Safety Signage is present and readable

  • Check DOG lock cylinder operation, Check hydraulic oil level, bolts, grub screws

  • Check Steering assembly, nuts pins, hydraulic fitting and oil leaks

  • Check Dog lifting pins and mounts for cracks and wear

  • Check Dog lift cylinders for correct operation. Check fittings for oil leaks

  • Check Boom luff cylinders, fittings tight, no oil leaks

  • Grease wheel arm bearings, shaft pivots

  • Check torque on wheel nuts (220Nm).

  • Check torque on wheel drive motor (220Nm)

  • Check all bolts on the wheel assembly

  • Check hydraulic oil level. Power pack.

  • Check all Lights are working

  • Check latch on gate and spring returns

  • Check tyre pressures (115psi)

Boom

  • Rope assembly visual inspection

  • Gearbox oil level ok. Boom needs to be elevated to 11°

  • Visual inspection of return rollers, tru-tack, suspended troughing set

  • Check condition of skirts on chute assembly

  • Test Low limit works

DOG INSPECTIONS

  • Check Gearmotor for Oil Leaks

  • Check Belt Condition, check cover strip

  • Check Belt Tension

  • Check Belt Edge Hold Down Rollers on Incline Section of Belt

  • Check Hydraulic power pack oil levels

  • Ckeck Hungry board cylinders, no oil leaks and fittings tight

  • Check condition of Drive roller lagging

  • Check Head pulley mounting bolts tight

  • Check Condition Hopper skirting and Adjust if Necessary

  • Check Under speed prox working ( Increase pulse time in electrical cabinet to test if cuts out). Check prox is secure.

  • Check Hungry boards open/close

  • Check Belt drift switches working

  • Check belt is tracking okay

  • Condition of doors & side walls

ALTERNATOR

  • Check Water level

  • Check oil level

  • Clean/ Change outside filters

  • SIGNATURE
