  • One arrival at the store please ensure that you sign in and out using the stores visitors book. Once signed in please ask to speak to the Store SAYS Champion or Duty Manager, Inform them that you are here to complete a survey for the installation of SAYS and will ask for them on completion to sit down and discuss the installation and any store concerns.

    To ascertain this information, please complete the below information with as much information as possible, where possible please take photos to help describe the areas identified.

General Summary of Project Roll-Out Scope of Works

  • Night 0 -

    Pat McMahon to install power/data cables to produce plinths, Scanner Wall, re-scan bench and pay stations ensuring a port is available for the installation of the server the following day by Zebra.


    Night 1 -

    ALS - Remove and relocate checkouts, relocate existing SSC & associated cash tube works. Relocation & installation of power/data poles, relocation IQM where applicable. Installation of new Scanner wall, re-scan bench, Scanner return holders, New Totem and Woodtech barrier rails. Installation of produce plinths and box infills where applicable to store plan, relocation of produce gondola where applicable, relocate and install hanging signage / POS.

    Pat McMahon- Decommissioning of power/data to all mainbank checkouts, baskets checkouts and SSC being removed or relocated, connect all power/data to produce plinths, mainbank checkouts, Express checkouts, SSC, Scanner Wall, and re-scan bench.
    All to be tested on completion

    Herbert's - AOIF works to checkouts and verify scales on relocated checkouts, carry-out modifications to countwise system.

    Gratte - Relocation and installation of CCTV Cameras

    NCR - Relocation and commissioning of till IT equipment and SSC payment lanes.

    Checkpoint - Relocation of EAS gate to Corel exit as per drawing.

    Zebra - Commissioning of Handsets and Scanner
