Test Drive Agreement - RW Cars

Terms & Conditions of Test Drive

1. I accept that the Motor Trader has supplied the above mentioned vehicle for test purposes only and I am bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.

2. Other than the Salesperson, if appropriate, I accept that I will be the sole driver of the Vehicle during the period of the Test and that it will only be used for the purposes covered by the Motor Traders insurance or my insurance.

3. I accept that I am responsible for returning the Vehicle to the Motor Trader in the condition that I received it.

4. I accept that I am liable for any and all loss or damage howsoever arising during the period of the test drive and will indemnify the Motor Trader against any claims or actions, whether direct, consequential or otherwise.

5. I accept that the Motor Trader shall not be liable for any loss or damage to property carried in or on the Vehicle during the Test and I am responsible for the safe care and use of the Vehicle during the Test period.

6. I accept the Vehicle will be returned in 15 minutes on the Date of Return stipulated below unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Motor Trader.

7. I accept liability for any offence, charge, fine, penalty, or any other liability which arises from my use of the vehicle and will indemnify the Motor Trader accordingly.

8. I confirm that I shall contact the Motor Trader immediately by telephone in the event of an accident or breakdown.

9. I confirm that I am not authorised to arrange for recovery or repairs without the consent of the Motor Trader.

10. The Motor Trader reserves the right to charge for fuel used for test drives in excess of 20 miles.

11. I undertake to inform the Motor Trader in the event of any mechanical issue arising during the Test.

12. I confirm that I hold a valid licence permitting me to drive the Test Drive Vehicle, valid for the duration of the Test and authorise the Motor Trader to keep a copy of my licence for up to one year in accordance with their privacy policy.

13. I confirm that I have been made aware of the operation of the Test Drive Vehicle controls and its performance.

I have read, understood and agree to abide by the terms and conditions stated above and accept delivery of the Test Drive Vehicle accordingly.
