TNS Intersection Scoping Sheet

1. View - Will new Controller height block/obstruct Signage or other issue?<br>Eg check if Shark Fin install will be obstructed

2. Identify on plan, lanes to be taken out

3. Controller Info - Pictures to be taken (Controller Build) <br>Eg - VMS / Rapid details / pictures - Special Priority Feature

4. Are Low Power Boards needed for LED Upgrade? (When existing controller is used)

5. Identify the Earth Stake Location and if the Main Earth Conductor size is 6mm. Provide information.

6. Identify Point of Supply Information (incl Pole or Pillar No). Pictures needed.

7. Is the current mains conduit Steel or PVC?

8. Do existing conduits meet 500mm depth? Provide photos.

- If upgrading mains cable, what cover is over the mains conduit? Explain.

- Is a vac truck needed to clean out pits and conduits for upgrading the mains cable?

9. Is a new bell joint required due to direct ENERGEX feed from underground joint

10. Post modification - Check cable length. If moving poles is the cable long enough to reach new position?

- Do the finial caps or fiscar boxes need replacing? i.e are they old and brittle?

11. What brand of lanterns are on site?

- What type lanterns are on site?

12. General Condition of Controller Base eg Does it need Dyno Bolts, On Lean. Provide information.

13. Is Controller Base Pre-cast?

14. If on landline - is there a Landline going into the Controller?

15. Does the Controller have a Top Hat? If so what equipment is installed in it?

17. Is the fibre team required when changing the controller. Provide photos.

18. Communications Type?

19. If Optus, is the cable long enough to reach the Comms box on the side of the Controller

20. Other relevant Information eg VMS, City Safe Cam, MUX, extra C/B, Generator Panel.

21. Identify Broken Pits and any ASBESTOS issues

22. Loops Infirmation - eg is the Condition of Asphalt for Loop Cutting good or bad

23. Is RG Tower needed to reach Mains Box when upgrading the mains?

24. Check Lantern layout on new and existing plans and confirm physically on site. Are there any variations that needs to be resolved with CRU?

25. If QTC Controller, is the earth bridge in the E block earth terminal?

26. Are the loop feeders numbered?

- Are all the loop feeder drain wires earthed in the controller?

27. For minor mods and intersection refurbs do the streetlight poles being altered have bells or isolation points? Explain and take photos.

28. Are there holes in the poles that need to be filled? i.e from push buttons being moved.

29. Are pedestrian stickers above all push buttons

30. Are there any finial cap restraints missing?

31. Are all audio tactile units working? If not state which poles.

32. Are the conduits sealed in the controller?

33. Are there any needles in pit/gardens/footpath areas?

34. Will any overhead cables be an issue when using the crane or lifting equipment?

35. Can the scope of works be completed?
