• 2.1 AGITATOR TEMPERATURE CHECK:<br>• Point the IR thermometer directly at the accessible agitator housing and Gearbox, making sure there are no obstructions between the sensor and the target.<br>• If you have access to historical data or manufacturer specifications, compare the recorded temperature to a known normal operating range. • 3.1 Agitator UE Inspection:<br>• Slowly sweep the probe across the chosen areas (shaft or housing), listening for any abnormal ultrasonic noises through the headphones or the detector's speaker.<br><br>Common Abnormal UE Sounds: <br>• Grinding or scraping sounds may indicate bearing wear.<br>• Screeching or whining sounds may indicate loose components or internal friction.<br>• Report any detected abnormal UE sounds to maintenance personnel for further investigation.<br><br>CAUTION<br>Use caution when accessing the agitator through climbing.
