Work instructions

1. PRE-START PREPARATIONS & ISOLATION (MUST FOLLOW C1 ISOLATION PROCESS)

  • 1.1 Identify and control the hazards using the TRACK and CRM

  • 1.2 Prepare material and tools:<br>Ensure that you have the necessary equipment/tools available at the site:<br>- Required Materials<br>- Required PPE<br>- Maintain good housekeeping<br>Proper Inspection of all tools and equipment

  • 1.3 Inform the underground shift supervisor or team lead of the scope of work and that work about to start.

2. LIVE EQUIPMENT or AREA CHECKS

  • 2.1 Check System Status (Display)

  • 2.2 Collect the information about the details of the damage or faults in the equipment or area

  • 2.3 Identify and explain the details of the damage or faults in the equipment or the area

3. ISOLATION (MUST FOLLOW C1 ISOLATION PROCESS)

  • 3.1 Equipment to be repaired shall be placed in a safe and suitable place for maintain or service.<br>- Lock out and tag out and follow up all isolation steps.

4. MAINTENANCE WORKS: Repair and Parts Change

  • 4.1 Take corrective maintenance actions: Note the maintenance works, take photos

5. Live Test After repair

  • 5.1 - Follow live testing procedure.

  • 5.2 Check System Status (Display)

6. TASK COMPLETION

  • 6.1 Remove personal lock and tag.

  • 6.2 Clean work area of old or used parts.

  • 6.3 Clean any used specialty tools and return them to their specified location.

  • 6.4 Is the task fully completed? Notify the underground shift supervisor that the works are complete, and it is back in operation.

  • 6.5 Report any defects to the supervisors and the planning team.<br>Any repair done must also be recorded.
