  Modern mains wired smoke alarms are in situ.

  Battery type alarms that are unlikely to be interlinked. These alarms are acceptable however as the tenants can remove batteries and in the interest of safety we recommend that consideration be given to upgrading to mains wired alarms at some point.

  There is currently no fire protection within the property. We recommend that as a minimum your tenants be provided with battery type alarms, however the ideal would be to have mains wired, interlinked alarms fitted.
