  • Warehouse floors are clear of obstructions that impede the path of a pedestrian or a forklift?

  • Warehouse floors are free from any spilled liquids or materials that could cause a slip and fall injury?

  • Electrical panels are free from freight or other objects and a clearance of 36" or more?

  • Freight is stable, secure and standing up right (no freight is leaning or in danger of falling)?

  • Food is stored in break rooms only, no food is present in the work areas?

  • Propane tanks are properly racked inside their cages?

  • Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used during propane tank exchange? (If observed - otherwise N/A)

  • Emergency exits are clear and accessible during an emergency?

  • All personnel are wearing hi-visibility vests?

  • Spill kits are not blocked by a forklift and the contents are full?

  • Permanent eye-wash station is clean? Eye wash bottles (if equipped) are full?

  • Pallets are not stacked over 8' or approximately 100"? (Use best guess if measurement cannot be taken)

  • Pallets are organized neatly and stored safely in storage areas?

  • Fire extinguishers are accessible, and not blocked by freight?

  • Fire extinguishers are mounted at least 12" off the ground, no more than 60"?

  • All trash and debris are disposed of in proper receptacles? (broken wood from pallets, plastic wrapping and other materials are in trash cans or dumpsters and not on the floor).

  • PPE at Propane Station is complete and in good condition? (2 rubber gloves, 1 apron, 1 face shield, 1 box cleaning wipes, 1 box latex disposable gloves).

  • Forklift Pre-Inspection Audit - Inspections booklets found to be current and recent inspection is compliant? (If audit not conducted please mark N/A)

  • No New Damage present in surrounding work area? (i.e. damaged walls, bent racking, bent railings / ladders etc...).

  • Is freight a minimum distance of 18" from all sprinkler heads? (Include freight that is free-standing and in-rack - use visual judgement if unable to measure)

  • Freight is organized and staged safely? (No freight is sticking out into a forklift lane or pedestrian walkway)

  • Forklift drivers are mindful of pedestrians?

  • Forklift drivers are driving at a safe speed?

  • Forklift drivers are using horns when appropriate?

  • Forklift drivers are looking in reverse when reversing?

  • Forklift drivers are not wearing headphones?

  • Loaders/unloaders are using proper lifting techniques? (not bending at the waist)

  • All personnel are wearing hi-visibility vests?

  • Docks are free of trash and debris? (including broken pallets that need to be discarded)

  • Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used during propane tank exchange? (If observed - otherwise N/A)

  • All trash and debris are disposed of in proper receptacles? (broken wood from pallets, plastic wrapping and other materials are in trash cans or dumpsters and not on the floor of the dock).

  • Yard is free from any oil or hazardous chemical spills?

  • Vehicles are parked safely?

  • Pallets are not stacked over 8' or approximately 100"? (Use best guess if measurement cannot be taken)

  • Pallets are organized neatly and stored safely in storage areas?
